Last Weekend Bjorn dug a few goodies: Camp leads bits, belt rivet, 2 eagle buttons (one with button back only, one with disintegrated front - though it definitely general service), 2 minie balls, and an interesting nail.

Bjorn's got a couple of coins recently and his first Native American white granite arrow point. The bent ornamental piece marked "Maron" is being researched to see if the name can be traced back to an Ellicott City resident where it was found. The dime was Pennsylvania while the rest are Howard County finds. The large cent has no ledgible date, but the reverse design helps narrow down the possibilities.

The point was found on top of the undisturbed ground.

Bjorn found some things last week, a broken 1861 Whitalls Patent Fruit Jar lid, minie ball, 3 wheaties, camp lead, and half of an early lead pencil, plus a small Oldsmobile emblem. Silvery disk is a Pardley London makeup piece, this company goes back to the 1700's and still exists today.
